Matt took a box and put holes through the bottom & top & then taped it to a cooling rack so I could put the sticks through the holes to stand up. The candy coating was not very hot at all when melted. After you form the balls(or shape)put them in the fridge for several hours or freezer for 15 minutes. Dip the tip of the stick into the melted candy melts first and then insert the stick into the ball. Proceed to dip the entire thing in the candy melt.
