Wild Boar & Pork Stew at Hampton Court.
Potato chips in flavors like Cajun Squirrel, Chili & Chocolate and Crispy Duck & Hoisin (We didn't see these until the airport so we didn't get to try them)
I'm actually really happy to be back in my own kitchen cooking our meals. On to Menu Planning Monday...(You might notice we picked up a copy of Jamie Oliver's magazine while in the UK & are trying a few things from it.)

That stew looks and sound great. Yummy
ReplyDeleteI'll pass on the "cajun squirrel" flavor.
ReplyDeleteCajun Squirrel ... oh my, this sounds like a must-try flavor :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Onion's AV Club did a taste test of some of those potato chip flavors. Cajun Squirrel was heavy on the cajun, light on the squirrel unfortunately.
ReplyDeletewhy can't we get those kinds of chips over here? I mean we have the boring flavors.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was coming to your house for dinner this week!
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to bring back special memories through food. I have heard lots of good things about Peters souvlakia:D
ReplyDeleteIt all looks good for the coming week. And I thought when I went to Nova Scotia that crab flavored and ketchup flavored potato chips were unique. Its so funny that it looks almost identical to Lays packaging.
ReplyDeletePork and wild boar in one dish? Amazing
ReplyDeleteI can see that someone is enjoying the meal. That stew sound so delicious.
ReplyDeleteCheers,

I'm not a big chip eater, but I love seeing the different flavors in other countries. I'll usually break down and try them. In Brazil we have turkey flavored and grilled chicken. If you close your eyes you'd swear you had a piece of chicken in your mouth and not a chip. It is really strange. :)
ReplyDeleteThere is no actual squirrel in the cajun squirrel!
