Weekly Menu 4/27 - 5/2/09

#123 - Happy Birthday to Matt '08
This is a big birthday week for us so there are few meals out planned. Thursday we'll be going out for pizza to celebrate my cousin Max's 10th birthday. Matt's birthday is Saturday & we'll be heading to Craftsman in Mpls. Sunday is my birthday (yes, we are a day apart) & the plan is to smoke a turkey breast on the grill using our new rotisserie.

On to Menu Planning Monday...

We are trying out recipes from a new grilling cookbook that we'll tell you about later in the week....

Steak with Blue Cheese Glaçage

Bánh Mi

Grilled Sausage with Bacon Potato Salad

Chicken Paillards with Grilled Sweet Potato Salad

Pasta with Bacon, Leeks & Mushrooms - by request from my dad after seeing this post.

I think I want to celebrate my birthday at your place too! How did you make the glaze on top of the cupcake?

BTW - loved the personalized bags you made for your nephews. Very cute. You're so creative - it's inspiring.

The steak with blue cheese glacage sounds totally mouthwatering haha. Well anything with cheese sounds good to me :) But it really sounds like a good dish. The birthday cupcake in the photo is really making me want to run to the nearest bakery and get something sweet!
