It's a strange time of year here in MN. Our weather went from hot & humid to cool & fall-like in the span of one day. We're still getting summer vegetables from the farm but the weather is making us crave heartier cold weather foods, which aren't always easy to add things like watermelon to.
On to Menu Planning Monday...
Grown-Up Beef Pot Pie - The grown up part is the blue cheese in the crust
Pappa al Pomodoro - also known as Tomato Bread Soup, a recipe we found from the Sur La Table catalog
Korean Short Ribs - I found this on Dinners For A Year & Beyond, it sounded so good & easy I could resist.
Stir-Fry - We'll get a new CSA box on Thursday & the fresh vegetables always seem to call out for this simple preparation.
Italian Sausage & Peppers - We've gotten quite a few peppers from the farm & this seems like the perfect use for them.
This week's cupcake is inspired by our quick change to fall here in Minnesota & it will be Caramel Apple.
